AMA Z I N G, I wanted one of those bad boys so badly when I was a kid but alas I didn't get one. Now I know why I resent my mom and had a terrible childhood, JHB north can be tough on a kid without a bomber jacket.

The photograph of Abby and her "father" completely change the relationship between vampire and boy. In the book, the caregiver is a pedophile who loves the vampire, and they use eachother in turn. Thus, the relationship between vampire and boy is one of hope, a beautiful relationship shining within the bleakness of the rest of their lives. The photograph removes that delicate beauty and hope and changes the relationship instead into one that is simply the continuation of a tragic cycle.

A thick neck can be quite a nice character defining trait, but unfortunately in this man's case, the rest of his body (arms, shoulder, chest, etc..) are not proportional so he looks very awkward. I get a weird feeling looking at it actually. In a thumbnail image, I actually thought it was Sloth from The Goonies.

Good write-up. Both films are really good, and I do really like some of the new touches (that photograph) in LMI, but perhaps LTROI is the most affective to me.
